Following good news from the Government about a return to live performances in May of 2021, we are delighted to announce that “AAAAA” [FiveA"} will reopen Summer 2021 at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre with a unique performance in time for City of Culture 2021 at the Albany Theatre Coventry.

AAAAA is a brand new piece of fringe theatre written by David Brady, Jack Albert Cook, Gabrielle Nellis-Pain and Kim Scopes, Directed by Jess Barton & David Brady with a cast lead by Daniel Rainford where no two two shows are the same. In order to preserve the mystery of the return of live performances to theatres, no further plot details about the show will be released before performances commence.

The revised London performances will be Tues May 18th - Sat May 29th 2021, with the special performance in Coventry on Sunday May 30th. Press Night is scheduled at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town for Thursday 20th May 2021. As social distancing is still scheduled to be in place all the standard safety precautions (mask wearing, track & trace & social distancing) will be in place at both venues.

As you can appreciate, 2020 has been a brutal year for us all, and we know the hurt and difficulty that this most extraordinary of years has caused to our community. We reiterate, as we did the last time, to continue to support the brilliant fringe theatre creatives we work with and wherever we can, champion the return to live performances as soon as we are able to do so.  Should you wish to continue to support the theatre with a donation ahead of your visit to see the show, you can do so via our Crowdfunder, which you can find at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/landutheatre. Contactless cash and card donations will be available at the theatre both before and after performances of the show which are “Pay What You Feel”.

For more information visit our website at www.thelionandunicorntheatre.com and on social media [Twitter, Instagram and Facebook] @landutheatre and if you have any questions about this reschedule, please do not hesitate to reply to this email for more assistance from our Box Office.

We wish you a safe (and brief) Lockdown period and look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre as soon as possible!

Team L & U.
