And so it was at Saucy Jack's, but it could only have been here.
With our final performance of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, the Cast and Creative Team of Proforca Creative would like to thank all of our friends, both old and new for supporting us through the performances and for rewarding us with a SOLD OUT run.
To our wonderful cast - Thank you for your time, energy, enthusiasm and dedication through the rehearsal process, and for bringing to Frottage III your patience, humour and extraordinary hard work. You made every day a dream and that was reflective in the performances you gave every night. You should be so proud of yourselves and you're all a part of our big old crazy family now. We (heart) you guys and now there's no escape. Let's do all the things together. (Twice!)
To our audiences, thank you for coming and being funny, charming and for dancing along with us. If you came new to the show we hope you enjoyed it. If you're a returning visitor to Saucy Jack's thank you for letting us grind on you, probe you for hidden plastic, and for allowing us to pull you out of your seat to dance along with us to our finale every night. Thanks for letting us wrap you in plastic, cover you in glitter and for being in on the joke with us.
We'd love to say a massive thank you to our technical team, Emma and Sally for getting us through show nights, and to Martina for doing an incredible job of running front of house. We'd also like to say thank you to Allie for the brilliant rehearsal photos. There's also universal kudos for Cat for being the bravest and most resilient woman we know, and we cant wait for you to tread the boards again now you've given up your medicinal "Glitter Boot." Your time is coming, dear, just you wait and see...
For all of our other support, to Roshni, Stephanie, Haydn, Ralph, Brendan, and to Connor for supporting us in ways that nobody will ever know, thank you for being our guardian angels and good luck charms, and for helping us out, we send you love and our very very best wishes.
We wouldn't have got through the rehearsal process without the help and support of our venues, so we send love and glitter to Jamie Eastlake and the team at Theatre N16 for making us feel at home, and to Sofia at Arch 468 for having us. Supporting those venues is very important to us and we love working with you. We can't wait to work with you guys again very soon. We were so at home this time at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Walthamstow, and thank you to Bun, Jo, Andrew and Aaron and all the team for making us feel so welcome and making our visit so pleasant and easy. Let's do it again very soon, yes...?
Finally, to Johanna Allitt for coming and lending her support, and to Chloe and Mike Fidler for allowing us to come and play in your little corner of Time and Space for the last six months. We hope we looked after your baby well and we will always be proud to be a small part of the Space Vixens family. Glitter Boots well and truly saved our lives.
One year in, this is the start of something amazing. As we say goodbye to Saucy Jack's we're onto pastures new, but we'll never forget where we began. To everyone who has supported us through "If I Go" and "Space Vixens" we could not have done it without you. Thanks so much for supporting Proforca and our projects and we have some amazing projects to share with you in 2017. (And they're just around the corner!)
Now, hold on and sit tight, because things are about to get very, very interesting...!
