Hello!
So we are about eight weeks away from show week and it’s all go here at Proforça! We have an amazing cast and wonderful director, so it’s all getting pretty exciting. As choreographer my days are spent staging, researching fabulous disco moves and wondering how many dance routines can incorporate the pole (shh... no spoilers!).
I have absolutely fallen in love with the world of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, and can’t wait for you all to experience this magical world we are creating. The show is full of heart, lots of laughs and some really great numbers, so it’s a treat for all! Working with David has been so much fun, he has loads of innovative ideas for the show, anything from photos of which glitter boots we should buy, or stripper pole logistics to genius staging ideas and set designs. It has been such a joy to work with someone who is so passionate, fabulous, driven and talented with a vision for a show.
I also have my amazing Dance Captain Molly (who plays Space Vixen Anna), who has been such a dream, helping me teach the choreography and warm up the cast for rehearsals, she also has a pretty amazing dance solo in the show which you’ll love (shh... no more spoilers!).
It feels like I'm already a native of Frottage III, so much so that I might apply for a passport (it’s still part of the EU right!?) and loving every second of creating this show with Proforca.
If you are a fan of the show, then I can’t wait to welcome you back in November, and show you what we’ve done with this fantastic show (hope you will enjoy it!). Or if you are new to Frottage III, get a ticket ASAP and let us introduce you to a magical world, I promise you will leave with a smile on your face, a strong urge to buy some glitter boots, and a strange fascination with plastic. Right... I’m off back to Glitter Boot Camp!
See you all in November! - Lots of love,
Harriet XOXO
